My love, please don't let your heart be troubled or discouraged by what is happening. You are not alone anymore, you have me in your life, and I will always stand by your side, love you, support you, and pray for you through every season.  There’s a strange kind of freedom in what’s happening right now, isn’t there? When your mum says she’s “washed her hands clean,” it hurts… but it also feels like the chains just got taken off. You can suddenly breathe. You can choose your own path, love who you want, marry who you want, live life on your own terms.

So yeah… it might actually be a blessing in disguise, even if it doesn’t feel purely good yet. Sometimes the most painful breaks push us into the life we were meant to live.
